Laura Rein is Dean of the University Library and Director of the Faculty Development Center. She has been with the University since 1995. She received her MLS from the University of Michigan and her MA in English from the University of Kentucky. Laura has extensive experience in providing on-campus and off-campus services and resources. Her teaching experience includes library instruction in information literacy and online short courses for the Association of College and Research Libraries. |

Charles "Tim" Bloom has worked in higher education since 2001. He has worked as the lab manager and Educational Assistant for digital media labs at St. Louis Community College and as a system administrator responsible for the campus Apple labs and classrooms at the University of Missouri. Tim also has seventeen years experience as a computer systems consultant in the printing field.Tim has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Maryville University and a M.Ed. in Information Science with a focus in Educational Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. |

Chris Jones joined the Faculty Development Center in the summer of 2009. Prior to to working for Webster, Chris worked as a multimedia lab technician for the departments of Graphic Design and Educational Technology at Central Connecticut State University, where he later taught Educational Technology courses to preservice teachers. Chris has an AS in Computer Animation, a BS in Secondary Education/Social Science, and an MS in Educational Technology.

Elvir Mandzukic joined Webster University in February 2008 as an Instructional Support Specialist for the School of Education. Holds an AAS IS (Computer Networking) from St. Louis Community College, BSBA (Marketing, International Business) and M.Ed. (Secondary Education, Educational Technology) from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Tiffany Smith, although a veteran to the Webster University campus (2004 & 2007 School of Education graduate and former Student Government Graduate Senator), joined Webster University’s Faculty Development Center in April 2009. She works with faculty to support technology needs as it relates to teaching and learning. Her support includes assisting faculty with the decision-making process employed when integrating technology, to make connections between course objectives and technology. Also, she advocates for faculty in the development of instructional technology resources, including the development of appropriate labs, classrooms and online technologies. In addition to the Master of Arts, Education degrees Tiffany received from Webster, she is a Kansas University graduate with a BA in Speech and Language Disorders, where she studied modification and adaptation of curricula to meet varying student needs and learning styles. When she’s not working with Webster faculty or teaching English Composition at St. Louis Community College, Tiffany enjoys sports and social events with her son. |

Brad has been a dedicated educator for 15 years and joined Webster University 7 years ago to support faculty by promoting excellence in teaching, learning and scholarship. Besides visiting dozens of our domestic campuses, Brad will also be visiting several of our international campuses in the coming year. He got his start in instructional technology and marine research at the Alaska SeaLife Center and has had the opportunity to live in several countries. When not working, Brad has a passion for teaching, sustainable business practices, corporate social responsibility, and being in mountains around the world skiing or climbing. Brad is completing an MBA in Sustainable Business.

Patty Bausch joined the Webster University Library and the Faculty Development Center in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Patty has worked for non-profit associations, an internet company, and another area college. Her experience includes office management, marketing coordination, seminar and special event planning, and newsletter writing and editing. Patty enjoys travel, hiking, art museums, and live theatre. |

Ryan Sullivan began his time at Webster as a student in the fall of 1999. He Graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Music. Throughout his studies he worked in the IT department as a lab assistant and eventually became a full time employee. He now works in the Faculty Development Center as the Media and Web Specialist working with Faculty to find ways to enrich coursework with interactive and instructional media components.
