The goal of this Adjunct Instructor Orientation is to provide you with important information on University resources that are available to you and your students. The information presented here should be used in conjunction with information and services provided by your individual site.
The Orientation is divided into five main sections: Welcome to Webster University, Getting Started, Before the Term, During the Term, and End of Term. The first section is an introduction and overview of Webster University, with greetings from our Chancellor Dr. Neil George. Each subsequent section includes several subsections with detailed information on University policies, services, and technologies that you should know about and use during various stages of the academic term.
This orientation is designed to be taken as part of an online course for new instructors, or as an informative web-based handbook.
Before You Begin: Set Up Your Computer for WorldClassRoom
Please follow the instructions at the Technical Requirements page and set up your computer appropriately for your online class. If you use more than one computer, please follow the instructions to setup all computers you use for online classes.
