Obtaining Full-Text Articles

Many of our database citations have direct links to the full text of the article. If such is the case, there will be a link that appears with the citation that says, e.g., "Text," "Text with graphics," "HTML Full Text," "PDF Full Text," "Click here for electronic resource." In some cases you may need to click more than once.

When You Find a Citation in a Database with No Full Text Link
When the full text of an article is not available in the database you're searching, look for the link to Article Linker. Using this link creates an Article Linker results page that provides options for locating the article.

For more information on this feature please go to: http://library.webster.edu/datguides/articlelinkerinfo.html

To find an article when you already have the citation:
1. From the Library website, go to Articles/Databases.
2. Go to Journal/Magazine/Newspaper A-Z List
3. Search for the title of the journal (not the title of the article).
4. The search results will tell you whether or not we have the journal you're looking for in the date range you need.

We are always happy to help you obtain the information for which you’re searching.  Please  call the Reference Desk at 1-800-985-4279 for assistance.
