Dean of Students Office

The Dean of Students Office can assist students, faculty, and campus administration with questions pertaining to relevant policies and procedures. If students cannot find a solution to a particular problem, Student Affairs staff in this office can help direct the student to the right place or help identify potential solutions.

Ted F. Hoef
Ted supervises all of the student affairs units, including athletics and recreation, campus ministries, career services and student employment, counseling, campus dining service, health services, multicultural center and international student affairs, student leadership development, residential life and housing, the University Center and student activities, and the Webster Village Apartments. He also works closely with student government and promotes student advocacy in campus policy decisions.

Colette Cummings
Colette is the Associate Dean of Students. She serves as the campus judicial officer and is responsible for coordinating the New Student Orientation. Colette also supervises several departments: the University Center and Student Activities, the Multicultural Center, and International Student Affairs.

John Buck
John is the Assistant Dean of Students. He coordinates the Student Leadership Development Program and supervises the office of Residential Life and Housing.

Sandy Tomey
Sandy is the Administrative Associate for the office of Student Affairs. Sandy is the person you want to see for the emergency loans, bookstore cheques, requests for tuition adjustments and appointments with the Dean and Associate Dean of Student Affairs.
